Hello, this is Emi.
I a relaxing summer vacationalthough I was a bit swayed by typhoons, intense heat, and weather changes. How were you all?
After the Bon holiday, I was relieved that it cooled down but, at the same time, I was going to miss the summer because it seemed short.
I wanted to take some summer photos because it would go, so I went to the sunflower field near my parents' house. I see many flower gardens utilizing unused land in recent years.

It was still windy after the typhoon, but I was energized to see the sunflowers stretch towards the sun.
Although the subjects tended to be slightly blacked out due to the lightly cloudy weather with the backlight, I basically took them with a slight exposure compensation plus AWB and adjusted them in RAW development afterwards.
On another day, I went to Kawagoe- little Edo (Tokyo). It's a popular place with a lot of nostalgic architecture of warehouse.

Hikawa Shrine is famous for its wind chime corridor and the chimes with wishes written on the strips were sounding cool. I tried to capture the wind’s movement by reducing the shutter speed.

But it was the hottest day of the year and I got so fatigued even after a short walk. I hope you enjoyed photographing without heat stroke this summer.
