It’s been so long. My name is Yuka Minamizono.
Unlike the previous blog (from 2005 to 2015, I went with “Chitchi”), I will go with my real name "Yuka" from now on. Pleasure to be here again.

The GR BLOG started in September 2005.
I lived in London due to my husband's work since 2015, when we closed the blog once. I gave birth to my second child there, and returned to Japan. It’s been about a year since I started working again.

The more children I have, the more pictures I take with the GR because of its mobility. My girls are 1 and half years old and 3 and a half years old and they do not quite stop when photographing. Since there are more cases I photograph indoors and more moments I do not want to miss, the GR is placed in our book shelf so that I can reach with ease.

I print more photos than before. As my parents did for me, I print 10 to 20 photos a month for each of my children's album.
Sometimes I use smartphones but basically it has been my rule to take all pictures with the GR.

With the sudden notice, I got to know the GR was to start again.
And there was the editorial meeting for the first time in a long time. I was so happy and excited to reunite with familiar faces! We will start over again.
