Photography, to me, is an act of self-reflection through observing and capturing subjects. The camera that has solidified this perspective for me is the Ricoh GR.

I encountered the Ricoh GR camera after 15 years of my photographic journey. Before this, my focus was on the technical aspects of how to capture subjects in a particular style. The Ricoh GR, however, shifted my focus towards observation and capturing moments as they are.

Being freed from the constraints of technicalities, I was awakened to the essence of my gaze. Genuine perspectives from everyday life converged to reveal my true self.

In the past, present, and future, I remain committed to using the Ricoh GR. I aspire to consistently offer a kind gaze to all things small, ordinary, overlooked, lonely, and fading in this world.
