The year 2024 is almost over. How was 2024 for you?
As for GR activities, we held “GR LIVE” in February this year for the first time in several years. We heard many passionate talks from the fans, which made us feel emotional.
“GR meet 47” started in 2022 and there are only 9 left! We are happy and sad at the same time that we have reached this point.
We also had the opportunity to host several collaborative projects. Each time we had new experiences and inspiration, and got to meet many of the fans.
And most of all, we are very pleased to have successfully opened “GR SPACE TOKYO” this year.
Thank you for visiting us every day. For those of you who live far away, we are sorry. We hope to open in other locations outside of Tokyo!
Nothing but your support for GR makes these activities possible.
With GR SPACE as our base, we hope to continue to share with you the joy and depth of photography and cameras.
Now, as our annual year-end article, let us introduce each writer's photo of the year.

●KYO
2024 was a year of change. A bench for one person, quietly placed in the middle of a walkway. It is always waiting for someone to come and sit on it.
●Emi
Although I often made excuses for being busy, I think I was able to cherish the feeling of wanting to take pictures of the wonderful sights I encountered. I will look back on the year by looking at the photos I took. Thanks again for this year.
●Minew
I've enjoyed photographing scenes from all over Japan on my personal travels and at GR events. My buddy GR III's total shutter count is 128,000. See you next year!
●Yuka
In 2024, I resumed mountain climbing and started fishing. I was able to take my children to places I wanted to take them. It was also a year of gratitude for many new encounters. I would like to continue traveling with my GR in my daily life.
●KA-TSU
Looking back on 2024 from my personal point of view, I guess I was “in the middle of nowhere” as you can see in the picture. I hope next year I can be in the middle of the excitement.
●ARA
In 2024, I was able to meet many people who love photography through our GR events. I am grateful for the good relationships that GR has helped me make!
●Ninzaburo
Last summer, when I stopped by Mishima, where I used to live, I was able to see Kohama Pond in its full water state for the first time, which I could not see when I lived there. It was a great feeling to have my long-cherished wish come true.
●Asakura
With the opening of GR SPACE TOKYO in Harajuku, Tokyo this year, I had the opportunity to meet more GR fans than ever before, and I will continue to cherish the relationships between people.
●Machuko@
This year has been another enjoyable year for me as I was able to visit various places and talk to many GR fans. And I am very grateful and happy to have successfully opened GR SPACE TOKYO, which was our long-cherished dream. Thank you to everyone involved!
We look forward to working with you again next year.
I hope you all take care of yourselves as the flu seems to be going around. Have a Happy New Year!
